Another Successful CLE Hosted by Safari Club’s Litigation Staff

Every year at SCI’s Annual Convention, Safari Club’s Litigation Staff co-hosts a Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) course with the State Bar of Nevada.  This year’s CLE was perhaps our most successful yet.  A diverse group of attorneys from approximately 25 different states (and one from Quebec) attended.  The course covered many topics, ranging from recent legal developments in Alaska to wildlife trafficking.  Attendees particularly enjoyed a Wildlife Law Jeopardy game created by Safari Club’s Litigation Staff (we promise to have it again next year).  Safari Club would like to thank our presenters and Jeopardy contestants – Kent Sullivan, Rick Parsons, David Willms, Paul Turcke, and Linda Linton.  A special thanks goes to Chief Woody, Assistant Director of the FWS for Law Enforcement, who spoke at the CLE regarding President Obama’s Executive Order for Combatting Wildlife Trafficking.  We look forward to many more successful CLEs for years to come.  See you all next year!
